1. What will the cost be?

The cost will be dependent on the options you choose for personalising your vanity unit, the size of the unit, whether it has a surface or undermounted basin and where delivery is to.

2. Why do undermounted basin vanities cost more than surface mounted vanities?

Undermounted basins cost more due to the extra costs associated with cutting and polishing the quartz edges around the basin edge, (this is not required with a surface mounted basin).

3. How long does the process take?

Our lead time is between 4-8 weeks from receipt of the deposit payment. We will always tell you at the outset when the deposit invoice is sent what the current lead time is.

5. What is included when I buy a vanity from the Vintage Vanity Company?

You can choose what you would like us to supply. Most people opt for us to supply the basin, waste, trap, and upstand in addition to the unit with the quartz surface. We can supply taps or you are welcome to source your own. If you are opting for deck/surface mounted taps we will ask for the dimensions to draw up where the tap holes will be positioned and to check they will work with the position of the basin.

6. My bathroom is being redone now and I need a unit urgently, how soon can you get it to me?

Minimum turnaround time would be around 3 weeks due to the source, cutting and finishing of the quartz surface which is done by a stone company we work with. If you are working to a tight deadline it is always helpful for us to know this at the beginning of the process so we can give you timescales for the completed unit being delivered.

Quartz is more affordable that marble, being an engineered stone known for its durability, low maintenance, and consistent patterns. It resists stains, scratches, and bacteria, making it a practical choice for bathrooms. Marble is a natural stone known for its unique veining and luxurious appearance. Although marble does require regular sealing and maintenance to prevent stains and scratches.

If you would like a marble surface please do let us know and I can work with our stone suppliers to source something to meet your needs.

Our stock on the website and social media is regularly updated, all stock we have will be listed here.

18. Do you make bespoke vanities?

We do not make the vanities, we restore and transform older vintage pieces of furniture into vanities.

19. Why don't you use a DPD or another cheaper courier?

We use a courier that we have worked with for years and trust to safely deliver our units with care. Unfortunately, some of the cheaper courier services do not secure the vanities for transportation which leave the unit vulnerable to being damaged in transit. The last thing we would want is for your vanity unit to arrive damaged.
